This is the perfect summer-time dessert for barbeques or parties. It’s one that everyone is sure to love!

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 butter
  • 2/3 nuts, chopped
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 1 (9 oz.) container Cool Whip
  • 2 (3 oz) packages Instant Chocolate Pudding
  • 3 cups milk

  1. Combine the flour, nuts and butter. Mix well. Press firmly into the bottom of a 13×9 in. baking dish.
  2. Bake at 325 for 30 min. Allow to cool completely.
  3. In a large bowl beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until fluffy. Fold in 1/2 the container of whipped topping.  Smooth mixture on cooled crust. Mix the chocolate pudding package with 3 cups of cold milk and whisk for 2 minutes. Pour pudding over top of cream cheese layer.

Allow pudding to set in the refrigerator.  Once set, smooth the rest of the cool whip over the pudding.
